Current Baby Obsessions

Thought I'd share some of my current favorites/ addictions ...

The Ergo Baby!
Doesn't hurt your back like the Baby Bjorn. You can nurse baby in it. It's light weight (I bought the 'sport,' which is supposed to be cooler for mom & baby). It is easy to put on. It has a sunshade/nap shade for baby's head. James and I rocked it tonight at a fundraiser/ dance show for The Houston Met (where I used to dance) tonight, he was so comfortable he feel asleep so deeply that he didn't wake up when I put him in the carseat, or when I got home changed him into a cloth diaper and swaddled him. Big fan.

Only draw back: you can't have baby face away from you.

Baby Connect App:
It's a little more like new Microsoft windows vs Mac, but it's the cleanest, most user friendly design I could find. I love that I can turn my phone on between dance classes and see if James is sleeping, when he last ate, his mood, comments and pictures: that is if Hubs or whoever is watching him inputs that info. It syncs real time too. It have a chart that maps out sleeping and feeding patterns. It has a built in nursing app. It does quite a bit!

Cons: It's not super intuitive & there are lots of buttons and small text. Also, all caregivers can log in at anytime, which I just feel kinda weird about.

GroVia snap closure cloth diapers:
James was starting to bust out of his size small diapers, so I busted out the diapers that cousin Kylie handed down. These diapers have held their elasticity through one kiddo, unlike their friends, and because they are not Velcro they still fasten securely. I love the large insert, and that I can often reuse the cover & just replace the insert. It also has a soft shell and thin waistband.

Cons: total cost is higher than other cloth options.

What are your favorites and current obsessions!? Let me know; I dream about buying them with the money I had to pay on taxes!
